Scene 1 — Work 

Environment:
mountainside. Mist clings to the rocks. Workers hang from ropes, drilling holes into the cliff face. Others carry tools along a narrow path.

Main Character:
“Another day working for our family.”

Worker 1:
“Careful! The rock here is loose!”

Worker 2:
“If it falls,we can all go together. ”

Main character:
“They joke about death like it’s nothing… ”

 

Scene 2 — Evening: Around the Fire

Environment:
A small camp, Dim firelight. Workers sit close together. 

Worker 3:
“When this is done, I’ll go home. Be around with my family, no more mountains.”

Worker 1:
“I’ll bring my family here. This is better than my hometown, and maybe this place will become home.”

Main character:
“Do you think our family is living a better life back home?”

Worker 2:
“Of course.”

Main character:
“For the first time since I arrived… I don’t feel alone.”

 

Scene 3 — Night

Environment:
The camp is quiet. Snow begins to fall lightly. The fire has nearly gone out.

Main character::
“Tomorrow will be the same. Work. Climb. Break the mountain. Live another day.”

 

Scene 4 — Return to the Cliff

Environment:
Same cliff, but colder. Ice clings to the rocks. Workers prepare explosives, placing charges into drilled holes.

Worker 1:
“Set the charges carefully!”

Worker 3 (to Main character:):
“Stay back when it goes off.”

Main character:
“Just another day… just like yesterday.”

 

Scene 5 — The Explosion

Environment:
A sudden blast. Fire and smoke burst from the cliff. Rocks shatter and fall.

Main character:
“What happened, where is everyone?”

Scene 6 — Silence

Environment:
The dust slowly clears. The cliff is broken—but so is everything else. The ropes hang empty. Tools lie scattered.

Main character:
“Hello…?”

Main character:
“…Anyone?”

 

Scene 7 — Realization

Environment:
Fragments of what used to be a working site. No movement. No voices.

Main character:
“Yesterday, we sat together. Ate together. Laughed…”

Main character:
“…today, they are all gone.”

 

Scene 8 — Final Image

Environment:
The main character stands at the edge of the broken cliff. The railway line stretches faintly in the distance. 

Wide shot. One small figure (Main character) against a massive mountain. Snow falls steadily. The unfinished railway cuts through the land

Main character:
“The railway will be finished. The world will move forward. But their life will be buried under this mountain.
